I used to be able to do the hard stuff frequently, but, since taking my "sabbatical," the slightest whiff of hard liquor makes my stomach twist like a pretzel. Beer it is.

long island's are crazy cuz its like 5 shots in one drink, and you can barely taste it

Usually whiskey or some variant thereof. It's my favorite alcohol because while it tastes good, it won't get you hammered after only a few ounces. And I really don't like being drunk--I only drink to relax.

You don't get hard liquor hangovers if you drink good, high-quality hard liquor. Cheap stuff is death in a bottle (and usually a plastic one, at that)

Indeed. At least in my experience.

I usually go for a nice relaxing Labatt Blue.

The only thing I drink thats close to a beer is the Shmirnoff Ice... which I simply ADORE the taste of.

Definately doesn't get me drunk though.

However, I find if I start drinking it after I've already gotten wasted.. it's great at keeping me wasted.

I like being wasted.


As far as hard stuff goes, I usually let other people pick.


The only thing I ever pick is Jack Daniels... :P

No preference. At all my parties I have something everyone and I drink everything. I always start off nights with a shot or two of something..tequilla...barcardi..WILD TURKEY..whatever. I like to continue the night with beer cause it keeps me in a continually wasted mood, without over doing it..and I hate sleep with the spinns, so I can usually semi sober up by like 4 or 5 in the morning.

Beer and cheap vodka are the only things that I've ever gotten a hangover from, anyway.

What exactly is the question? "Beer or Hard Stuff?" doesn't tell anybody much. Is the question, which do you drink more? or which do you prefer? or which tastes better? or which goes better with a pizza?

hmm, i love alcohol but i just cant bare it with food for some reason, even if i'm pissed as a fart, if i start eating i'll get a soft drink to wash it down with.
