You wanna know something? Beer is actually quite good. I had my first few bottles yesterday (corona extra) nad I must say it was a rad more bitter than I thought it'd be. I guess it's somewhat an acquired taste, but I really like it. Yay. So, post your favorite kind of beer.:)

I drink ale mostly since I hate the bloated feeling I get from lager. Quite like Tanglefoot or Hobgoblin (yes, ales have to have weird names).

Favourite domestics: Labatt Blue, Alexander Keith's, Sleeman's Silver Creek, Black Label, Molson Dry, and a variety of Unibroue's micro-brews (La Maudite, U, Blanche de Chambly).

Favourite imports: Hoegarden, Leffe.

I'm just talking your average everyday beer, not some fancy imported crap. I'd take a six pack of heine any day over a 12 pack of any domestic brand, basically.

American Macrobrews almost all suck. I say almost all, because Michelob Honey Lager isn't too bad.

Other than that, I prefer Boulevard (microbrew out of Kansas City), Red Stripe(Jamaican beer), Killian's, etc.

I tried some Japanese beer called Saporro last night, and some Amber Rock or Brock. Was real smooth dark beer. YUM

And the only alcohol I have ever drinken (seriously) has been rum shots, and coke with rum.

Sam Adams Light. I also have begun to like Bud Light. I will normally purchase Miller Highlife Light (not to be confused with Miller Lite or Miller Genuine Draft Light) which sells for cheap but is better than most domestic lights in my opinion.

Budweisser ist great, but not that cheap US copy. The real czech budweisser rocks.

Sorry guys, but Corona and all that stuff isn't really beer

I like Guiness, Kilkenny, Fosters, Newcastle Brown Ale ... those are the ones you probably know. But than, Schwabenbräu (Das Echte, Das Schwarze, Das Meisterpils), Augustiner, Prinzregent Luitpold, Rothaus Tannenzäpfle, Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu and much more. I am Swabian, so we have a lot of good beer here, still I have to admit that tose Bavarians have some good stuff, too.

There are some more nice beers around the world, the croatian Bockarev, Russian beer isn't that bad eater. And in Hungary we have our Soproni Ászok, Szalon Sör and Borsodi.

My fave domestic so far has been Keith's, though Sleeman Honey Brown ranks up there too.

My fave premium is this Czech Pilsner they make at the Arnprior u-brew. It tastes kind of like apples.

Well you like to mention your race in just about every thread you post on, so I figured I'd do it for you. Although I shouldn't have brought up race. It just brought me down to your childish level. But a man can only take so much. You guys have been calling me a troll for years, but the funny thing is, I've grown past that, and you guys like to latch on to it, like children.



My father drinks beer, my uncles all drink beer. I'm always around people who drink beer. When i worked at a bar two years ago, do you know what people drank? Beer. So between my relatives and hundreds of peoples opinions at a bar, I'd say I have the right to post. It may not be my opinion, but it is the opinion of the people I have spoken with. Some college kids told me once how the only reason they buy budweiser is because it's cheap not because it taste good. Basically everyone that got Guinness said they love the beer more than most beers here but once again with the money. It's more of a drink for sitting down with and relaxing. It's a much darker and thick brew than most. As for Sam Adams, everyone but college students would order that because it's not only cheap but it has flavor too. They even said the Sam Light wasn't as bad as most light beers. My dad loves going to different places and tasting beers. At home he drinks mostly Sam Adams as well. I know my dad and he won't drink most crap beers and he doesn't like to spend alot anyway on drinks. So from him and the bar folks I can gather that it's a pretty good beer.
