I've been playing for a day or two, it's a great time waster. It's pretty fun and it's free. Basically it's like Matrix/Max Payne style gameplay. You can dive back and forth while shooting and side to side. You can use swords to slash people down, then when they are down you take out your guns and shoot them in the face! Or try running on a wall then stabbing your dagger into the wall while you dangle above everyone else. It's great fun, like I said you should all try it out. My guy is only level 7 right now, but I'm getting better :) It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get it, it's awesome. Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Gladiator style (swords only) Upgrade your characters weapons and clothes with the more points you earn, and go crazy! Enjoy.

Free?? I'd pay atleast 20 bucks for that (if the demo proved to be as fun as i'm thinking it is).

I think it's more of a beta. But it's a really really long beta :p if it every does get released in America (I doubt it.) I'd pay 20 bucks for it.

I'm having a bit of trouble updating it. After you click the link to manually update it it works fine, but this morning it's keeps trying to send me a new update, but it fails. And in it's broken english it says "Update fail. You cannot run the gunz."

[Edit: Fixed it]

Ive been playing, not my type of game, but still rather enjoyable. Right now I have a character called Shintago at level 5.

The translations do need some help: "Are you sure you finish gunz?"

I tried playing it, but it's really really laggy for me.

Every 3 seconds everyone in the game will stop with some kind of connection problem type icon over their head, this will last 3 seconds. It's impossible to play. :(

Aye, it's beta :p I had that problem at first. Servers 1 and 4 are usually good with that stuff. Still every few hours there are connection errors. You just need to find the right servers, and you shouldn't have a problem.

This game looks pretty fun...but it sounds like it lacks content, and is still very buggy.

It seems like a few people, other than myself, are having trouble just getting the updates. The server is also going pretty slow right now, so trying to download the update manually is going to take... about 1 1/2 hours. Weeee.

Click on manual update (This is if you already got the 36 or so meg update and it STILL isn't working) Go to the last page in the thread (Or close to it). Someone posted a new Gunzonline.exe thats like 512kb, replace the old one and then run Gunz like that. I had that problem as well with the updater not likeing me.

Downloaded and played this morning, really great fun. Anime + Specialists = win. I only wish it was less arcady though, I unloaded clips on people, hitting every time, and still didn't kill them.

level 7, the selection of armour upgrades is pretty small, only about a half dozen for each body part.

I'm level 5 now, and I'm come in first in pretty much every game I play.

Are there supposed to be quests? The store has a Quest Items category.

I've managed to get to level 5 by playing on a few servers where the lag is playable... i don't seem to get many bounty points to buy weapons. I have about 300 and can't really buy anything.

It's just deathmatch, with experience and inventory that carries on between matches.

In order to get more bounty points, join servers with people levels MUCH higher than yours. Even if you are a level 1 you dont need to platy in the level 1-5 servers. You can take on a level 14 and get like 800 experience for a kill. (There is a way to change the server IN the servers if that makes any sense)

The one thing I find funny is the weapon requirements. They go from level 0 to 3 to 5 to 8 to 9 to 10 then to 20...then to like 53 WTF?! yeah like I said though, leveling isn't a chore if you fight higher level people. A level 8 can easily take out a level 14, you just need to have skillzlolololol. By the way double tapping the directions with a gun makes you do the dives and if you have a blade you just move really fast (If you didn't notice by now)

Also with the blade, there is this awesome killer blow you can do, which is easy to perform:

Just stand still, and hold the primary fire. Your character will draw back her sword. It'll charge up with a bright light, when that finishes charging, run at someone and fire again. You'll do tons of damage.
