Made level 5 in 30 minutes first time through. Just join big Deathmatch games (none team) and hack it out

If you jump at a wall and hold the right mouse button you'll dig your sword in it and hang there and it can be used to jump much higher, i wish you could cling to it and gun people, that would be sweet

The main problem with the game is its always laggy. Playing the game isnt really that fun after the first few levels.

Just wait till you get into the games where everyone has rocket launchers. Oh joy.

I never have had lag problems. You guys pick crappy servers :p

Last night I played a 30 round team deathmatch, with maybe one person that lagged, so we kicked him and another guy joined. But basically 30 rounds without problem.

i find it boring sorta, i got to level 3 but its got a cool concept. I think it would be more fun if it had a free roam environment as well.

The hell it is! Its not FPS to start with, second its a deathmatch type of game, similiar to Jedi Knight only with a system that carrys items over.

I can't seem to afford anything, so I can't get any weapons to kill people with.

As a result, I can't make money... its like a got damn loop, and its annoying.

Dude, do this, go into sword duels at first, then fight until you get 200 bounty, buy the next shirt on the list, the 200 bounty one, use it, sell the other one, then keep doing this, next pants, shoes, gloves etc... so far I've used like 800 bounty. I'm at level 7 now, going for 8 probably today.

So is SOLDAT, and it pwns.

oh man, can you please tell me how to do that? i've read up on their official forum thing, and got sort of confused. i'm an idiot when it comes to tech. basically, if you have a link to step-by-step instructions, i'll be most grateful.

Sounds more like a load of bull to me. Starcraft works in a highly similar way. Its been out for YEARS. I don't see millions of starcraft viruses floating around the internet...

Except that starcraft does not require you to have a high range of ports open. iirc it only requires you to have 1 port open.

I must be the only one who doesn't understand why I can sit there and pump 20 pistol bullets into someone only 2 levels higher than me, then they turn around and shoot me 3 times with an SMG and I'm dead.

Well, it's logical, isn't it? I mean, he has after all earned his level.

The lag in the game can sometimes be insane, but I'm having a lot of fun.

Saving up for my next upgrade of revolvers.

I found something out. PISTOLS SUCK.

Seriously, they do absolutely no damage, and have an absolutely horrible rate of fire.

Get some dualies of ANYTHING, and it becomes much easier.

All I use are pistols and revolvers, and I always come out on top :p

Maybe at high levels they get better, but at where I am (lvl 11), anyone who uses pistols just gets slaughtered, repeatedly. Plus the lag can make it impossible to hit anything with pistols.

....no, it doesn't seem logical. Seeing as I made it to level 2 by killing 4 or 5 people, no it doesn't.

I guess I'll make a new character. I started with dual pistols, I'll try dual SMGs.

At first I found this game boring as hell, but then I started getting better. And better. And better. Now I get first in any game I join, even with people 10 levels higher than me. That is, on a good day. But people constantly complain about how good I am, calling me things like '*******' and 'motherlover.' I love it.

I warn you though, I'm developing a sword technique that's literally unbeatable. I call it the slash-past. I got it from playing too much JA.

This game would be SO much cooler were it in visually pleasing graphics, had more customization (Tatoos, clothing, colors) and had some environment physics like in CSS. I believe that it'd probably be easy to impliment a game similar to this in HL2... god I need to learn to edit that game.

Funny thing is, this game reminds me of JK, except it's got the fast dash movement that I always wanted.

Actually, It seems that your level have absolutely nothing to do with the amount of damage you do, how much you take, your rate of fire, or reload times, level only limits the available equipment. This seems redundant because of the bounty system, but whatever.

I must made level 15, still Shintago, and yes, Dual SMG's are the way to go until you get to level 10, then invest in a rifle, its worth it.

Everybody uses dual SMGs, and it makes me angry. Revolvers are amazing. They come charging at me, guns blasting and I knock them down.

Of course, I don't use the revolvers when they're on the ground. That's a shotgun's job.

The next set of revolvers I get do 40 damage a shot, and I'm going to invest in getting dual swords.
