Evidence of Iraq's alleged ties to al Qaeda would have nothing to do with his job: he wouldn't be anymore privileged than any other of the government bigwigs in the Pentagon or White House. He's credible enough, but you need to work on reading comprehension.

That's kind of hard since you didn't really define what "ties" are. Money? Safe haven? People? Hardware? Training grounds? Does Iraq condemn the terrorists and make and effort to get them or let the US do so? Do they jsut sit back and do nothing like Afghanistan did? In reality that is an absurd question to ask in such a general manner.
