Yes it is. I fail to see how using harsh language is immature, theres no logic behind it. And yes, you guys are showing how immature you really are, leave a dead subject alone, and move on.

You're acting extremely childish, Monoxide, and it's really wearing on me. Swearing is a sign of immaturity, since you can't tell him he was being hard on the kid rather gently. Arguing for the sake of argument, with no backup for your own points, or reason to be arguing, is also childish.

It has less to do with swearing and more to do with the fact that you outright insulted him. Twice. And the first was reenforced with cursing, so it's almost like three times.

You have said that Spork was immature for poking fun at Goldie's Massassi MMORPG. First of all, it was only in jest, and he meant nothing by it. But if you really do believe it was immature, which is your opinion, there are much better ways of sharing said opinion than by hurling insults.

There are plenty of times when adults swear, plenty of times when swearing is mature, almost always in an informal setting. But when you try to make an honest argument and you resort to swearing, it's showing immaturity, anger, lack of control or any combinations of the above.
