People are hostile these days at Massassi (this and other threads). Sheesh.

Yes that is definitly true. I have found myself being really hostile lately, among others. It seems we had that period with the ban list where even the slightest subtle insult would get you a ban and now people's posts don't even get edited for personal attacks. Oh well. I come here to argue anyways so it doesn't bother me. If you don't like it, don't read the debate threads. Stick to stupid discussion about favorite ice cream types or whatever. I'm sure that won't be hostile.

While I've only read the first dozen or so posts in this thread, I think everyone needs to take a step back and realize that NEITHER life is more important then the other, and that valuing ANY life higher then any other deserves no moral high ground or holier then thou attitude.

I'm sure we could follow a trail of blame in this case back to the founding fathers and beyond, so why bother?

No, you're just saying that a whole mess of them are and assuming your experiences with the cops is uniform all over the place.

And I'm right! There ARE bad cops all over the place. Sure there are good cops everywhere too, but my point still stands!

Nice jump in logic. Yes, babies are killed sometimes and it's sad. Notice they didn't say "shot by police officers".

Can't I over exagerate anymore? :(

It's just, theres always that blanket statements in these stupid little sob stories.

"Well, any time you have.. blah blah, there is some blah blah."

It's there to make it look like a normal thing. And thats crap.

Toddlers getting shot shouldn't be a normal thing.

PEOPLE getting shot shouldn't be a normal thing.

PS, some lives are worth more than others.

Example.

Not everyone paints a Mona Lisa, or writes a timeless sonnet.

Except it is a very normal thing, so it's no surprise that cops treat it like that.

A very, very large majority of police officers will go their entire career without even drawing their gun, let alone firing them, in the line of duty.
