11? I was under the impression that they had misinterpreted the part of Revelation that said that, in the endtimes, 12,000 from each of the 12 Jewish tribes would be saved.

Umm I made a mistake, its 12, not 11, anyhow, 144000 is a multiple of 12, like many other numbers in the bible, but I'm not quite sure because I've just been to busy to look it up, so I can't guarantee more than the number 12 is used alot, I think its the "perfect" number if I remember correctly, but I'll have to do some research...
