I tell lots of people about NeS and the ISB, and thus I inadvertantly tell them about Massassi. So yeah, power to me!

The zone like maybe in 2000 or 99 I don't remember. Everybody played levels from Massassi there, but the place sucked as soon as the numbers of players reached < 100, there weren't enough people to diffuse the weirdos.

I was looking for JK levels on Northernlight.....I think. Either that, or a friend of mine (Grendel, used to post frequently years ago) guided me to it

I had just come to learn of the joy of custom levels for JK, and was scouring the net for them. My search took me here, a vast archive of some of the best (and worst) Jedi Knight levels and modifications ever created. Alas, I was sadly unaware that my soul would soon be ripped from my possession and and condemned to reside in this place.

I love Massassi.

I used a search engine (think altavista way back) and was looking for 'Jedi Knight Levels'... and there goes my soul! lol

I thought JK was already dead in 2001, when I found out that JKOutpost was dead and jediknight.net hadn't updated any levels/mods since 1998 or 1999. So I ended up finding links to massassi.jedinights.com from some JK.net thingamading so I decided to google search for Massassi and got here.

Writing this story took me 9 seconds.

I got linked to it from the Zone when they said I needed a custom map. I never really visited the forums until around 2001, when I was like "WTF is a forum!?". Before I went to the forums I just downloaded random levels that sounded t cool, and also ones I needed to play to join a game.

A friend showed me SBX and Caesar's Palace one day and told me to go here... he learned about it from either a friend or the zone, I forget which.

I was using the site and lurking late 1999 and early 2000, I registered on the forums the summer of 2000. I'm almost certain I found the site through the Zone, which I found from the JK multiplayer homepage link in the JK folder in my start menu.
