Coolest Keyboard Ever...

Yup. Integrates OLED LCD screens into each key, allowing it to change the key into whatever suits you.

They demonstrate photoshop icons mapped to the proper keys, Quake 3 binds being mapped, etc.

No word on price yet though.

All I know is, I'm in for it :D

I want it just because I like the look and the layout.

I'd want one for audio applications (Sonar, FLStudio).

How much does that cost? I've got to have it. :D

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are one of the hundreds of parachuting enthusiasts who bought our "Easy Sky Diving" book, please make the following correction: on page 8, line 7, the words "state zip code" should have read "pull rip cord."

SWEET.

I'd want to play around with it before I bought it though, mainly to test the layout. Big enter keys throw me off.

Saw this a little earlier. Thing is, it looks neat, but that gives no indication how it feels to type on.

I don't imagine it could possibly be worse than those silly ZBoard things though.

Eh. It's nice in the concept but I've committed to memory many shortcut keystrokes in various programs.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

It's going to be produced, though. There was a news article saying that there are 3 companies right now that are interested in it.

This is some great 21st century technology. Fixed controls are so inefficient and archaic. Imagine switching between applications and having your keys automatically adjust and display new function. You could add a couple rows of F-like keys which could be bound to your typical ALT-<key> functions...productivity would be increased like tenfold.

Edit: Even better...instead of having extra keys, just use the QWERTY keys for common functions in your apps. But then you think...what about typing in dialog boxes? Every time you need to type, enter text, etc, the keys just instantly switch back to letters. Kickass!
