Things done today:

1. Created new color theme. Note that icons will not be created for it until the default theme's icons are complete. But some of you were requesting this so I made it quick. You can enable it by going to USER CP, then OPTIONS and scrolling all the way down.

2. Fixed the editing form. Fixed a bunch of borders. Removed blinding background on editing form and inverted all control icons. The hovers are still wrong. Maybe fix this tomorrow.

3. Fixed many of the colors to be more cohesive.

4. Fiddled with various things.

5. Changed the width of the forums from 100% to 97% creating more black space around the sides.

6. Re-added the POSTED drag 'n drop link. You can use this link to link people directly to a post in a thread. It uses an anchor. Just drag the underlined word "posted" above any post to a text box and it should create a link that will bring someone to the post.

I'm just going to assume it was a server glitch and it won't happen again. Come back if it still does in next week. In the mean time, discuss what's been done. Like the new theme.

It seems you can change themes in the lower left corner of any page too.

Uh, oS, there's instances of future-posting in almost every thread. It's not going to go away.

I like the other theme. Put the "Post Reply" button back at the bottom of the page too. You have to scroll back up otherwise. Also, see if we can implement a quick post type of thing with a text box at the bottom of every page where you can put your reply.

edit: Maybe the other post reply button is just missing from the other theme.

Hm, even though hex post counts and new icons (instead of those blue ones) would be nice, they aren't that important.

Fix the search function, it only works on the threads from and after 20.7. (for obvious reasons)

Yeah Future-Posts are definitely a problem.

It's strange from a debugging point of view, the error appears to be speratic and some threads aren't effected.

Could it be a bug when two people are posting a comment at the same time on the same thread?

There has been something wrong with the clock on these forums when we were running the old version (I had to set it to GMT+4 although I'm in GMT+1) but it seems to work correctly now.

What? Just another 3 hours?

I'm in GMT+1 and it's 16:24 here now and the forum clock is correct:

All times are GMT +1. The time now is 04:23 PM. Although having the 0 in front is confusing, usually that signals the time is in 24 hour format.

I found another problem. Clicking "Calendar" at the top causes some errors.

As does clicking "Event Reminders" in the User CP.

This is an example of future posting. I suspect it has something to do with the date/time.

Yeah... I was in this business once.. I'm calling a blame on VBulletin.. with the whole future posts thing and all.

This is actually the only example I have seen and has been brought to my attention before.

Calendar has vulnerabilities so I made it not executable. When they release a patch I can re-enable it.

I'm too lazy to link to them right now, but TRUST us - there are many, many more.

1. Edited OtherColor theme.

2. Procured VB3 graphics dev kit, subsequently pumped out all of the custom statusicons in proper background colors and some of the little chevrons and such.

3. Also updated statusicons for OtherColor and gave it seperate images for statusicons.

4. Changed many of the icons to VB2 style from old UBB (thx Daft_Vader)

5. Updated miscellaneous icons for both themes thus removing white aliasing.

6. Created a Corporate theme for those who want to use the forums at work. Slackers.

Corporate mode? I am intrigued? How do I access this?

1. Fixed alternating colors so they... alternate.

2. Removed black spaces between posts.

3. Created new buttons for Massassi Olive theme.

4. Fixed a ton of stuff/icons in Massassi Olive.

5. Moved report icon next to edit and quote, and changed icon to match.

What are the little sabers for?
