The red "report this post" icon is ugly. Is there no way to add that option to the list that appears when you click someones name?

Woah that list is awesome! But probably not. That list has per-member options, while the report post feature is a per-post option. It just doesn't fit in.

Moving it to the right side with the edit and quote buttons might work.

WHO ATE THE POST COUNTS?!

:p

I guess someone's working on the ol' hex code as we speak?
2005-07-24, 10:34 AM #44
not yet no one isnt. we have other things that come first. hex counts is last.

Fair enough. Any particular reason why the non-hex post counts got taken away?

So do we get our avatars now that there is an option to turn them on and off? (sorry if you answered this already, I skimmed through the thread quickly)
Think while it's still legal.

avatars are ugly. what else you you want? image sigs? flash sigs? all the super cool crap we keep out to make massassi different?

Agreed those huge flashing signatures can be annoying and it can produce a whole bunch of trouble when people realize they can put inapproprate stuff in them without the admins noticeing for a bit.
2005-07-25, 3:41 PM #52
Who added BLAH! under all the names?
nope.
2005-07-25, 3:43 PM #53
Probably a test of a text feild, nothing permanent.
2005-07-25, 5:21 PM #54
...Yeah, but if you can turn them on and off, wouldn't only people who have them on in their options see them? Plus all the lurkers who don't want to register wouldn't see them either.

Anyone else been watching the boxes in the corner? Forst it was blah, then blah with ZOMGBOX, then black box, then the saber, now...

WHATEVER NEXT!?
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

keep these forums avatar free, please...

or at the very least, restrict them to only 2 or 3 that get awarded with certain post-counts or something...

1. Added Hex postcounts

2. Moved Icons around

3. Got rid of lower table row on every post.

The red lightsabre doesn't make sense. If we're offline, we're evil? How about a lightsabre that's turned off?

i am sad to report that the lightsabers are going to disappear in favor of a small dot.

That's even better, I'd say.

I might've suggested this before: How about instead of displaying the user's current post count in hex, it could display the user's post count at the time of that post? That way, when someone makes post number 0xB00 for example, the hex number will remain there as 0xB00.

Another thing: The buttons aren't looking nice. In fact, due to the browser skin I'm using, I can't see the text on them. Could you do something about that?

1. Nope. Impossible. That data is not stored and I'm not about to root through VB's billions of lines of code to add it, not to mention changing the database structure.

2. What buttons? Example? Screenshot?

I could probably fix the invisibility of the button text on my end by modifying my browser skin, but the previous version of the forum had nice green buttons.

You are going to scratch the sabers :(

Aww, that was my favorite part :(

The sabers have to go. Good idea.

Can we have the page of threads look like before? Maybe position the name of the thread starter from the bottem of the thread name to the right?

That's kinda sad I thought they fit the theme of the forum really well.

I thought so too, added more star wars themeyness to everything. At least change them into nicely styled dots. (with sabers)
Sneaky sneaks. I'm actually a werewolf. Woof.

what browser? this does not happen for me in firefox or IE

I'm using Firefox. The problem just started today (I believe) as I never really noticed it before. It only happens in the standard and olive themes, not the corporate.

EDIT: It seems that it works fine in IE. It must be how Firefox (1.0.6) is parsing the HR's.
