are spiders ok to eat?

It is said most people eat some insects during their sleep, so odds are you've already eaten them.

spidners aren't insects

Why is the answer to why always why? Why is there no final answer to why? Simply why not? Holy cow, this is pretty deep, meaningful **** I wrote. Glad I wrote it down. Oh man."

Spidners aren't living organisms too.

I'm aware of that, I'm just saying that if its possible to eat insects in your sleep, chances are you have eaten a spider as well since they tend to dwell in the same areas.
Except spiders are annoying nasty bugs themselves. They spin webs everywhere that you walk into and get all over you. They leave cobwebs in your house, and they are just completely freaky. Kill all spiders!!! (Waits for spider Al to show up)
Except their not annoying or nasty. Deadly ones like redbacks need to be gotten rid of, but the majority of spiders are our natural freind, people that have been living too comfortably in our un-natural world tend to forget this. They don't make webs -everywhere- most places they make them are out of the way, and if they make one in the way and you break it they don't take long to find elsewhere. If you have cobwebs in your house then thats your own problem for letting the house go like that.
Spiders rock.

Poor spidey. I usually cage it and throw the jar into the forest. Hopefully they live. :\

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Jeez...It's personal opinion. I don't like them and I DO run into their webs all the time. They make webs outside across my front door, that's not very out of the way. I'm not blaming them for this, but if I see a spider, it's dead.

That's because it's dead.

It's sentances like that that make me go off on my rants about how cool spiders are and how stupid people can be.
No offence, but thats really stupid =p
(ok, so maybe a little offence)

That's not stupid at all. It's a defense mechanism. Like how people who are afraid of heights avoid hieghts, he's avoiding the spider and ensuring that he won't run into it again by eliminating it.

I won't bother a spider outside of my house, but if there's one inside, its life is forfeit. My home is not where spiders belong.

Oh please...go hug some trees you hippie.. :p

There are more then enough spiders in the world. If a spider wants to come into my house, I will kill it. It's not like I go spider hunting.
