Were you not warned by the Admins? Stop being such a prick. It's an internet forum, and you get upset by someone saying anything opposite of your knowledge on computers. Hell, I didn't even say you were wrong. I even said the opposite. "I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying that based off my expderiences this is what I would do with these products". It's kind of hard to tell when you're joking on the internet. especially if you dont use an emoticon of some sorts. And especially when usually, you end up insulting me and i end up insulting you in the past.. Let's suffice to say, I'm not exactly used to you joking with me, so when you call me a pansy, I take it the way I'm used to being talked to by you.

But yeah, sorry if there was a misunderstanding. Again, it's hard to tell people's tone's and meanings on the internet when you're just reading words and not listening to them. And you could have worded your joke a little better.

But yeah, that's the one thing I have always thought Apple got right. The max OS is very simple to use.


Seriously though, I've told people "Ok, click your hard drive icon" and they say "Um...the hard drive is IN the machine" and refuse to get the point through their heads that there is an icon on the desktop.

Another one was telling a lady to look on her desktop for the icon, to which she said "I see some pens, erasers, paper"...Obviously she was looking at her DESK's top..

Anyways, Apple isn't a company worth investing time and money into. BASED OFF MY EXPERIENCES, I think this. That isnt to say they don't have good products.

I like iPod's, except that when they break, there is no way to fix them. Apple will only replace them, and will also only do so under particular circumstances.

It's the same thing as people not liking windows or microsoft, or linux. To each his own, but that doesnt make whoever likes what wrong.

They let you buy them at the end of the year at a very reduced price. Either way, how can you not see the big deal of WC3/UT2k4/Quake 3 in class? Seriously \m/

Well, our laptops in our HS were a little older (we had them new when we were freshmen, but they weren't great later on).

But damn, we played UT like it was our job. And GTA2 was all over the network. You could get online anytime and there would be at least 3 games going.

CS wasn't too popular since the mouse sucks for it, but a ton of people used SNES and Genesis emulators also. (Homeroom was the Mario Kart championships, apparently)

I plan on finding out how to get an emulator that has working network support, and staging some hardcore Mortal Kombat battles. Buahah.

For SNES: Snes9x supports it, and well. Just make sure you turn on the game reset option to sync it.

If SNES9x didn't work, try ZSNES. There's a few others I cannot remember.

Well, there are kits that will turn an internal drive into an external one (disk drive, cd drive, dvd drive, whatever) that uses USB. So it's reusable. I used one when I got a DVD rom drive for my birthday 'cause I didn't think I'd feel comfortable trying to install it myself back at college. Just recently I took it out and mounted it interally.

Just an option for you to consider. *shrug*
