It all started when I was trying to edit to JK. I was editing using JKEdit Demo. I edited but couldn't test... I looked around the internet for Custom Levels, and found some! They looked nice. I think some were from here... I decided to Email those who made the levels and ask what is missing to test levels. There were some who answered and said "Download JED". And after getting JED, I learned how to use it and did some stuff... I asked questions from one person (Jean-Francois Vuagniaux), liked this place and downloaded stuff and levels, and then he told me that he couldn't help me all the time. So, reluctantly I signed on here and asked questions.

I might have forgotten some details... It's been a while... A LOOOOONG while...

After I got 2 new hard drives, I reinstalled Jedi Knight & MotS and wanted to find a community who could help with my problems and ideas (JKOutpost was closed, so I was "sad"). Thus, I became here. That was in 2001.

I think I first found it from google while looking for mods. I never really used the site until I was linked to something on the zone, then I registered on the forums to ask editing questions.

My life was never the same again. A few years later I grew out of my n00b stage. You have to understand, though. I was only in the 5th grade when it happened... Massassi got me young.

Well my friend got me into JK, and after i bught it, he pointed me to Massassi for custom levels\mods. After awhile of getting levels at Massassi and eyeing the forums button, I went to the forums and lurked for about a month, then just signed up.

Wheen looking for jk cheats it took me to the mod page then i used that 2-3 yrs forgot about massassi came back and signed up

Sometime in 1999 or so, my family finally signed up for internet access, and I got a chance to play JK on the zone. I noticed that quite a few of the matches were using custom levels, with instructions to download them from "www.massassi.net," which is how I first found the site. I actually lurked for a year or so before finally getting signed up for the forums and involved in the community. I can remember coming into the chat a couple of times when there was only about 3 or 4 people in it.

JK Outpost and OD34 bring back some old memories. I miss Hyperview as well. There were so many maps offered on other sights like these that aren't offered on Massassi and would be virtually impossible to find. At least the ole file sections at File HQ, JediNights, and JKMAG are still up.
