it's annoying to read text like that. It's a waste of valuable screen real estate.

Actually no, empty space is one of the most important elements in good
page layout. The lines in this post are approximately 40ems which is the
optimum line length for readability. So whilst jedi I may type lines that are
too short, most of you type lines that are too long when viewed at most
standard screen resolutions.

That's definatly harder to read than a continous line. How can people type like that? Seriously, Why are we letting this happen? :p
