Yeah, I saw that. Too bad she died in the episode :(.

And I got to see Summer Glaue (river) and Adam Baldwin (jayne) today! I wore my shiny hat to universal studios and watch the Q and A with them, the Executive Producer, Visual Effects guy, and a couple extras for the movie.

So far Rotten Tomatoes gives Serenity a 67%.

3/9 roughly say the movie is bad.

Of those 3, one of them is reviewed by a guy who gave deuce bigalow a B (gave serenity a D+). The majority of all the reviews (professional and user reviews) that say the movie is bad are not fans of hte series, and also claim that the movie expects people to be familiar with the series.

In my opinion, they're assuming that the relationships of the characters exist in a way that involves off-screen, or previous, relationships and situations that would make the movie make more sense.

I think... they don't realize that the series started exactly in the same way, not to mention the fact that people caught on so well and easily withing this "off screen moments" for the series alone. :P

So in other words... I think we have nothing to fear, Serenity will be god-like.
