Comments - Good, if she puts a curse on him then maybe everyone else will realise "hmmm, maybe there is something to this wicca stuff"

despite the fact that wicca has sweet F A to do with the devil and curses etc.

Comments - I dated a Christian once.... biggest mistake ever, tho I would like to add she wasnt a true good christian, she just hid behind the faith and used it against people. B**tch.

Opinion on Sarn.

Go for it ffs. She's a wiccan? ooooo big deal!! surely god will cast thee into hell. sorry no religious comments welcome.

- Lyndsay is a sexy name.
- She sounds hot.
- She smokes, err, well thats no reason not to try it on.
- She's a wiccan, they're interesting, and not bound by the limited actions and short sighted so called morals others are. Plus she can fly on a broomstick :p Just kidding, I tried wicca a long time ago.

- She's a girl.
- She sounds hot....

I ran out of ideas sorry.

You were raised in a conservative christian home and you meet someone who goes against what you were raised as. One of the reasons you are attracted to her is the whole wiccan thing. You even look over the smoking because of this. Seems less to me that you like her and more that you want the forbidden fruit. You need to satisfy your curiosity and as soon as you've done that, I bet you won't be as interested in her.

lol.

Anyway, you guys are very likely right about the whole "forbidden fruit" theory. but that's ok... It is kind of an experiment... We'll just have to see where things go, I guess. And in the mean time I will try not to get too in to her, so that if things don't work out it won't be so bad.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

That's so hypocritical to make fun of the less plausible aspects of Wicca. I'd cut it out if I were you guys

<Sarn> I haven't really mentioned it to anyone else (on Massassi) cause I have a reputation that would be shattered if people knew I was dating a Wiccan.

<Sarn> and... even worse, she's Wiccan, which means that I'll probably burn in hell for even associating with her.

Wiccans don't believe in hell or the devil. :p

I have a few books on wiccan as it interested me a while back, and it really is a good religion. Nothing evil about it. It's just it gets a bad reputation because a bunch of confused emo/goths think that being a 'witch' is the cool thing to do and it will be the easiest way to get attention. In fact they know nothing about wiccan they just dress in black, act mysterious, and wear pentagrams...I have no idea why, but it's sickening. A girl at my school claims shes a wiccan, she can't even explain the religion to me. But she shops at Hot Topic and the Silver Dragon, so I mean pfft, she must be. The fact is wiccans don't need to be these goth/emo freaks who act all depressed and wear black. Hell, your boss could be a wiccan, or your teacher, anyone really.
Think while it's still legal.

SAJN speaks sense. Most of the time people do it for attention. I have many friends that are such.

My father dated a high-priestist wiccan before he met my mother.

well, she's definately not depressed... If she acted depressed, I wouldn't like her.

I say go for it, but don't sacrifice your personal values for a fling. Just be careful about it, keep an openmind for sure and learn from it. I doubt it'll lead to marriage because most of the time it doesn't. Just have some fun, but if it becomes problematic, be strong enough to break it off.

SAJN wasn't saying she was, he was just letting you know that 99% of he bad rap assosiated with wiccan is from emo/goth kiddies, and so to ignore any rumors that may detract from a decision to date her based on that.

Wiccan is far more a naturalistic religion than anyhting else. Think the Night Elves from WC3. The negative conotation it gets these days is because of ignorance.
