Well that's a small mishap, but ign is still pretty worthless. I hate to say it, but for game articles and previews I generally tend to go to Gamespy. No one has the ability to get me excited with an ARTICLE like Gamespy. They have good writers. But I usually don't trust any site for reviews, I try to read every review I can find and then determine how good it is, but I usually find that ign has the most information in their reviews.

Werd. IGN is in sony's pizzocket yo, but Nintendo is still da shiz. Dat Bangin.

After that random bit of sporadicity, I'm just gonna say this-- Metal Gear Multiplayer.

Rome Total War is getting way too much recognition. Shogun, in its time had the ability to have more units than any other game, and that wasn't even what made it good, in fact it just made the battles confusing. I'm not really impressed by Rome Total War.

Go look up a little german game called castle strike. That is a good rts.

Dude, the battles are not confusing. I'm playing 4vs4 9,000-10,000 man battles in multiplayer in Medieval: Total war and it's awesome. Not confusing at all. I don't even know how you even think that is so, unless you didn't play it much. The thing about the Total War series is that you must use real tactical strategy, not just charge your men foreward. Once you learn proper tactics, battles are incredible and so open ended, there is no limit to the tactical flexibility you have with your armies. Besides, the developers said they made controling armies even more intuitive. And with how easy it is in Medieval: Toal War, that is impressive indeed.

The flooding of Total War is getting kind of old. Besides, its not as fun as it looks the battles are annoyingly hard to get used to and its just plain boring. If you were able to be one man fighting among that many people it might be nice but just controlling mobs of that many people didnt appeal to me in Medieval: Total War.

I don't to strategy games. I don't have to mind set. I consistently try to play them like FPS games.

However, I've been told be several people before that I come up with damn good real time strategies on my feet during FPS games. I just don't plan that far ahead. Ergo, I suck at strat games.

See here's what you don't know. I kicked *** at Shogun, I just thought it was not the best strategy game I have ever played. It wasn't hard at all. It's just not all that good. People are just spooging over Rome TW because there are so many units. I don't care about units.
