Actually, you can't get a top of the line card because you're using Socket 754. Best you can get is a 6800 Ultra or X850XT

No, I'm pretty sure Yecti has a faster one. Sorry. I know for sure he has dual FX-51s though, and that he had them in his box long before you got that FX-55, so you never really held that title if you count the two procs together :p

Dual FXes is probably the biggest waste of money after SLI 6800s.

SLI isn't a waste of money... it works on tons of games (really, all the games that need it).

We had one of these threads about two weeks ago...

Speaking of SLI 6800s. They weren't really a waste of money for me. Back in March when I bought the first one, I paid $450 I believe, and then I bought the second one in April for about $200 using a discount. I'm thinking about selling one as my game playing has cut down a lot recently.
