I've been halfway through the Two Towers for about a year and a half. A more boring den of dullity you will never find.

I'll probably see Return of the King eventually, but I'm not lining up for tickets or anything.

It occurs to me that I may be the only person in existence whose name does not end with Tolkien that enjoyed the songs.

Hmm... come to think of it I also live alone but my stories of the little people aren't made up damn it, they're real. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

5. I haven't seen RotK yet, but right now in Calgary they're hosting several marathons where all three "Extended Versions" are being shown in order. I would imagine those ticket prices are at least (the very least) $40.00 cdn, plus your munchies and drinks.

Somehow I don't think i could do that... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/rolleyes.gif]

The miners of Kiith Somtaaw sacificed much, and risked all. For their efforts they were brought into the inner most circle of Hiigaren power. Naabal, S'jet, and Sobanii bowed before them. And from that day to this, Somtaaw's children have been known to one and all as Beastslayers..

If you are JRR Tolkien, Peter Jackson, or Elijah Wood then you deserve a 46.5. I doubt you are any of those though. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Although I've read the books up to mid of RotK, and seen both movies currently out on DVD, I like the movies, but hated all the books except Teh Hobbit. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like reading histories, especially when it's like reading the bible's boring parts. "And so Filodo begat Komdo" and so on.

Read FotR and TTT, but gave up about halfway through RotK. It was like wading through mud.
