sigh... not snowing up here in Illinois.... oh well :(
I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.

It is snowing up here in Trois-Rivières though only slightly. I know it snowed a crap load in my hometown last night.

It rarely ever snows in the Bay Area, and it's only on the higher hills if it ever does.

This is really weird, it has not snowed in here in Utah yet, last year our first snow was in the middle of October.

Yeah, last year there was a good 2-3 inches before Holloween, this year it snowed once and it all melted, and we're getting highs of 50 and stuff... weird. I live in Minnesota..

I live in central Florida. I think the ground might have some dew on it outside...

The surprising thing is that I live in Canada and we've had incredibly warm weather for the season (still cold, but some days you dont need a jacket), on top of that, we've only had one snowfall in my area and it lasted about 10 minutes and had nothing on the ground (it was barely even wet)..

Usually by this time of the year it's -20 and we've had at least a foot of snow on the ground once.
2005-11-23, 1:38 PM #23
o.O Where do you live?

I mean, I'm in Quebec and it only starts hitting -20 and having 1 feet + of snow beyond December 1. You live in the Yukon or sumetin? :P

Yeah dude, it like sprinkled a little in the high Uintahs and I saw some up in the air a few days ago, but nothing that got to the valley floor.

I live in peterborough, Ontario. Just outside Toronto. The reason the snow is different up here from toronto and quebec is that peterborough is supposed to be in some kind of arctic snow belt that runs across the country, going through peterborough and its surrounding areas.. The result, more snowfall and colder temperatures..

Even toronto is unseasonal though I'd have to say for this time of the year.. Usually at the bare minimum by this tuime you have to wear a jacket, yet some days you dont even need to.

Freezer shavings are the only thing that we have down here that even remotely resembles snow....

Maybe someone could send me some snow in a box so I will know what it's like... :p

Back home in Jerusalem we usually have no more than one serious snowfall a year and it's like a national holiday. People take the day off and kids stay home from school.

Hmmm, interesting. I had thought that all the lakes served to moderate our temperatures somewhat. Nevertheless, it's been frickin' freezing for the past couple days! I've gone out to my stop to wait for the Trent Express, and been chilled to the bone within minutes. A heavy snowfall is not far off, methinks.

omg...someone else lives in peterborough?

I heard on the radio int he gym today they were calling for 25 cm overnight into tomorrow evening..Our first REAL snowfall of the year.

Oh yeah? Well I say bring it on! I don't have class tomorrow anyway, so I can just sit back with a warm drink and laugh at passers-by from the comfort of my couch. Snow is nice......to look at.

(Edit: Nevermind. I just remembered that I have to go get groceries and do laundry tomorrow. Damnit! :( )

64 is chilly? Hahaha.

We had a snowstorm once when I was a kid that had 7 foot snowbanks. It's a good year to have less than 2 or 3 feet of snow. You people need to stop complaining. The pictures up there look like 2 weeks into spring.

If we get a light dusting of snow, local driving skills go down the toilet and our town pretty much shuts down.

Then again, we don't get much snow... :gbk:

We've literally just had a flurry of strong winds and sleet. I think it's over, though. The cloud was moving fast.
