Massassians in the Wurm World?

So I was wandering around near home in Wurm Online when I noticed this building, which has been there forever, but has a new name now, and apparently, a new owner. Is this one of you guys, or just some other person who knows what the Massass Temple is?

Yea... thats mine all right... I had to rebuild it twice now because some darn bls destroyed it... its the "official" massassi town... my gift to you heh.

North West from Newtown (the town you start in).
Just go directly north west... and you'll find it... look for like a river after you cross the lake.

I gave in and installed it.

This will be the first mmorpg I've EVER played. EVER.

edit: ok UHHh I can't get it above 4fps. Very curious. Haven't changed a thing in the settings. Tried again at lowest settings. Same.

Help?

Hey, this is my first mmrpg ever too (well maybe aside from Gunz). And i'm having the same problem with an fps of =< 4. Should we get a new java sdk to get a decent fps?

It's just a beta at this point, really far from going gold, and so far, it has really horrible video card support. All they can say about low FPS is to just mess with the vid settings, and make sure you have the latest JAVA and drivers for your vid. card. And no, there's no map of Wurm. The players think that getting lost, or wandering around with no clue where you're going adds to the game experience, and most people think it's fun. If you wanna know where that Massassi Building is tho, head north across the lake/river from the town you start at, then west on the opposite coast. When the coast turns into a cliff, the building is on that cliff.

Ok so I managed to swim across the entire lake at 3fps, which thoroughly surprised me .. couldn't figure out which direction is which .. ended up on some hill next to some people's caves. Gave up :p

(How do you build stuff? I also cut down a tree)

You're farther than I am... I couldn't figure out even how to cut down a tree. I mean, I picked up a saw, and even figured out that you have to specifically put the saw into your right hand... but there's no options on either the tree or the saw that'll let me cut it down... bah it's frustrating.

try lowering the settings...

Instead of dragging things to your hands, double clicking them activates them too. Much easier that way.

i was killed by uberbear. i almost had finished my house too.

now my char has literally nothing in the inventory. my 11 hours spent on this game have all gone to waste.

My advice: don't go to Avalon and the massassi village. At least not alone. That place/area is teeming with BLers who want to kill you and loot your body.

Uhhh...if you haven't played for over a week, then you haven't seen me. I just started playing yesterday. And I'm running around the Massassi Workshop. I'm eventually hoping to set up a small shack somewhere in the area.

Ummm... yes. I d/l it, tried to start, and it said that it wouldn't work. It goes to the loading screen, waits for a response from login server, and then an error pops up. It says something about game rederer stopped due to an exception. I don't get it. I click ok and the game closes. Blah.
