yay for snow. I just got the first snowfall of the year on Thursday. Its been off and on untill saturday morning, when the last flakes were seen. We got about 3 inches. It was sweet. Can't wait to go to the pass to check out the snow and go skiing. Its been dumping in the Washington part of the Cascades.
"You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!" Anyone who recognizes this quote is awsome.

IT'S SNOWING LIKE CRAZY! Aw, this place is awesome in the snow! and we have heated sidewalks that melt the snow and then it still freezes overnight, so I'll be ice skating to tomorrow's finals. But I'm crazy excited!
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

3 days in a row for having to shovel the driveway. Sigh.

It snowed a couple inches early AM Sunday, another 4 expected tonight in NYC. Problem in the city is that except for a few random parks here and there, there are no real white expanses after a snowfall because the streets and sidewalks get cleared right away.
Dreams of a dreamer from afar to a fardreamer.

Snow rules, sounds like you need a better vehicle so you don't have to shovel your driveway so often :)

It was -29C with windchill tonight.

Brian, we live in a suburb. I have to shovel the driveway and sidewalk or else I get fined. Well, the sidewalk anyway. If I'm out there I might as well do the whole thing. To add insult to injury, the municipal snow plows like to pile a big wall of snow right in front of my driveway, so I have the joy of moving THAT later on in the winter too.

I used to live way out in the country. We had a narrow gravel driveway about 120m long. Got it plowed maybe once every winter and we never had any problems. Same vehicles and everything.
