Half-brother's cousin: Notkea Rotta, ringleader of the group Notkea Rotta. An east-Helsinki rapper.

Grandmother's "small-cousin" (? pikkuserkku/smÄkusin, what have you): Eliel Saarinen, A relatively famous Finnish architect , but not as famous as Alvar Aaltonen.

A pair of twins in High-School were related to Eugene Schaumann, who shot and fatally wounded Bobrikov, an oppressive General Governor of Finland (when Finland was a Grand Duchy of Imperial Russia) before commiting suicide himself.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

My uncle owned a Denny's many many years ago, and he said about weekly the Munchkin Coroner from Wizard of Oz would come in and eat there. My dad apparently ran into him there as well.

My cousin's best friend's sister IS: The foreign exchange student for Not another teen movie, (or whatever it was called) and was also the yellow power ranger Maya.

My family used to be close to Wayne Newton (Las Vegas entertainer). My mom even took a nap on his bed when she was a baby.

Oh, and this Olympic boxer names Chris Byrd sends his kids to my school.

AND, my friend's dad is really good friends with the guy "Rudy" from the first Survivor television show.

Yup. My other friends dad that works at a casino is always hanging out with that chubby guy from the Mafia movies with Robert Deniro... um... the ones with the brain doctor and stuff... so... yeah.

Another friend of mine lives across the street from 'Pen and Teller' (Las Vegas entertainers) that have a -crazy- house.

There's a lot of other people, but I can't think of them right now...

(I knew a guy related to Millard Filmore, too.)

[edit]

Oh yeah! And one of the munchkins from the Wizard of Oz taught my grandma's exercise class. I actually got to talk to her on the phone a few times.

My neighbor was best friends with Mary Kay Letourneau, the teacher who had two children with her 13 year old student, and my neighbor's husband was her lawyer. I wasn't aware why she was "moving" at the time, but I helped pack boxes when she went to jail, haha.

I wish I had something better than someone who banged her student, but I don't.

My Mom used to work with Troy Aikman's sister, I think before he was on the Dallas Cowboys.
My sister had classes at college with Carrie Underwood before Underwood dropped out to go on American Idol.
Somewhere down my family tree was a famous baseball player, don't remember his name though.

Sadly, that's about it.

I don't believe that there are any famous people in our family. My grandmother once gave a bouquet to Hitler, and my aunt once sat in Elvis Presley's lap while he was in the armed forces, but neither of those really count.
