Isn't the coffee thing a myth?

Yes. To my knowledge, drinking TONS of water is the only way to get alcohol out of your system faster, because a small percentage comes out in your urine. This may not be true, but even if it is, it's a very small amount. Coffee isn't going to sober you up. Your liver still has to oxidize the alcohol...

I was going to tell people to take Tylenol to avoid a hangover, but then I realized this is Massassi and I'd probably end up being blamed for SAJN getting liver damage or something.

Well, I was gonna post some pics, but my friend took them last night, so it'll have to wait.
Friday 30th: Went to pub, then Fabric (big drum 'n bass club)
Saturday 31st: Got back to my friend Beo's at about 7am, slept til 1pm, went home, showered, ate. Met friends at Victoria train station at 6pm, began drinking champagne on the train, got to Brighton for about 8pm. Friend made some seriously lethal punch while we watched some fireworks in the garden. Drank punch. Went to a nice, reasonably quiet pub charging £3 entry or £5 with a glass of champagne (compared to atleast £10 to get into any pub in London). Drank, danced at the pub til about 2:30, went back to my friend's house. Drank more punch. Went to The Ocean Rooms, a day club that's open 4am-11am. Drank more, danced more, headed back to London.

All in all a very good New Year's.

Win. British DnB scene is so awesome...hard to beat unless you're in Atlanta or Chicago, and even then you only get a taste of it.
