my holiday in England (lots of photos)
2006-01-02, 5:38 PM #1
So I just got back from England, where I spent the Christmas-New Year's week with my mother and step-father. My sister and her boyfriend (or "partner" as I'm told it's called in England when it's a longer, serious relationship... still find that funny) came over too. In any case, I'm not gonna do a run-down of everything I did, just a highlight of some of the things that come with more interesting pictures. To start off with, here's me standing next to my step-father's Mini:

On Christmas Eve, we saw a bunch of people gathering on their horses in our village. They were going fox hunting, though not really... anywhos, we went on a walk through the countryside to a pub called the Hollow Bottom and had lunch there. Some pics:

I went to visit the Wrollright (sp?) stones at one point. We're looking very deep in thought, but mostly we're deciding what they look like to us. Half of them look like Wisconsin...

You look 98.7% like a friend I have, and it's really creeping me out.

We also went into London on New Year's Eve. We stood between Big Ben and the London Eye during the countdown and fireworks. Quite the experience, what with the human sea and all :p

I'll get it short again soon enough. Perhaps sooner than later. We'll see.

Don't listen to them. Long hair FTW.

Eh, it has its advantages, but if nothing else, it's just too much maintainance for me. I still don't know what style of hair I'll be going for though. 'sides, shorter hair seems to be more popular with the ladies...

Yes, I'm tall. Sheesh. What I would give to be able to donate a few inches from my height to someone...
I don't advise a haircut, man. All hairdressers are in the employment of the government. Hairs are your aerials. They pick up signals from the cosmos, and transmit them directly into the brain. This is the reason bald-headed men are uptight.
Thanks Mr. Stafford, but really, the only defending I want to hear are from women saying "your hair is hot!" Then I might start leaning towards later rather than sooner... :p

DO NOT WANT.

I didn't ;) At least, not this time. I think I was in it once last time I visited in the summer of 2004, but yeah... :(

I am most definately not a sir, but Van Dort is right -- I am a freakish 6'6". It wouldn't be so bad if I was more proportional. Oh well.

hehe I was about to post that

I still want to go to England.

I'm 6'2" and I feel monstrous. One of my friends is two inches taller than me, and he looks normal.

You should grow a beard, I think that's what makes my friend look more normal sized, somehow.
DO NOT WANT.
2006-01-02, 9:09 PM #34
WOW TALLL! you can donate your inches to me :-P
2006-01-02, 9:17 PM #35
Yeah, I'll start donating as soon as people can start donating some muscle/weight to me :p

I'd totally help you out if I had any muscle to spare... (6'3" and 160lbs)

awesome! looks like you had fun. And yeah, I know I'm not all that tall for a girl (5'8 1/2) but still all of my friends are short and dainty. I feel monstrous sometimes :p c'est la vie I guess.
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

Your hair looks like mine.

Except it's darker.

I'm gonna steal your hair tonight.
