Unfortunately, something similar happened in my area. Some stupid lady wanted to get rid of her dog, so she lit him on fire. The dog ran in the house, destroying the building, killing the two children caught inside. :(

That is I think possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard of someone doing. And as long as she doesn't have anymore kids, she could very well get a Darwin Award. And like with the mouse thing, did the dog die too? No-one ever mentions animals.

EDIT: My favourite Darwin award is when a guy tries to run over a dog with his truck but drives off a cliff, leaving the dog perfectly alive and healthy.

I see a mouse die once a week. I don't know if it's painless or not to be killed by a snake...

Mice don't feel anything from the moment you pick one up.

When they think they're about to die, which is just about any time they're in danger, they go completely numb.

Guess they just got tired of dying painfully (read snakes) all the time..

But if that's true how come the mouse freaked out when he caught on fire?

EDIT: Or she...

Erm, read mbeggar's post. This didn't happen. It was exagerated.

I'm kind of thinking Sarn_Cadrill's post might hold some truth.

Someone just got completely and utterly pwned.

That has made my day. :)

And that makes it okay to toss it into a fire? Twisted logic you have there.
