Back a few years I stole for about 4000$ worth of road signs and we made it to the news paper. Not our identities mind you, we never gt caught, but what we dead and a "threat".

I was trying to be helpful in my post, and I hope that Thrawn reads it, and for his own sake, keeps the stories to message boards rather than bragging about it outside of the internet. The responses here should exemplify this.

Me and my friends have stolen a few, but we do it differently than most people. We take the whole sign, post and all. It's much easier if you've got a place to put it where it can't be seen.

i've created a chaos by doing that. switching the signs... mmm... fun. changing speed limit 40 with 120... fun. stop signs are useless, "Attention! Hospital" works better.

Alright someone on here said something about respecting cops or something, not sure where since there is alot of flaming that I just don't care and won't read. He said something like "Yeah like a cop can be wrong" when I said that it would be hard to prove I ran.

3 years ago I got a ticket coming home from work. It was 1:30 in the morning and I was sitting at a red light. The light turned green, and I pulled into the intersection. Half way into the intersection the light turned yellow and the cop pulled me over for RUNNING A RED LIGHT. I pointed out the light was clearly green when I entered the intersection and had turned yellow, but he gave me a ticket for running a red light. After 3 seperate court dates it was finally thrown out.

2 and a half years ago I was in the parking lot of my job when a cop pulled up and began harassing me. He turned his brights on, his search light and kept a flash light shining in my face. The reason for this? The cop was out of his jurisdiction. He was not a cop in my city, and had driven into where I work, saw me standing around, and began thinking I was performing grand theft auto or something. He never asked to see proof of insurance, all he said was "Is this your car?" and when I said yes, he was satisfied. He then ran a search on my license. At no time did he call my city's police (something they are supposed to do by law when questioning someone OUTSIDE their jurisdiction, even if the suspect broke the law in their jurisdiction and they left the town before stopping). A city cop is supposed to arrive on the scene to oversee the ticket and/or questioning. When the officer asked me where I worked, I pointed to the building and said "Right there. That restaurant, not in Dal Worthington Gardens." He realized what I knew and turned around and left. I pushed to get him terminated from his job for harassment.

Last November 2 cops, same little town, pulled me over in my town cause my inspection was expired. Oh, wait, did I mention he pulled me over OUTSIDE his jurisdiction? Again no cop from my town to oversee it or contacted. One ticket written, other was just a warning. First cop even told me that the ticket can be thrown out easily by getting inspection done, now they are saying it can't be and I owe them $140. Going to court later this month over it.

Another DWG cop, I watched him pull over someone THREE TOWNS away. I just happened to be going to an Autozone and followed them since it was near where he pulled him over. The guy was speeding in Town A, drove through Town B and finally arrived in Town C before the cop initiated the lights/sirens to write him up for speeding. No cop called to oversee it.

I am sure there are honest cops out there in this world. I managed to meet one once in high school. Since then I haven't.

I've been pulled over 7 times, and this is the second time I ever *avoided* being pulled over (first being that story, which I admit was mean and wrong. And even after I did that, I got pulled over on 3 seperate occasions). If you want to sit here and think I run around in the world trying to break the law and run from the cops, fine do that. I don't really care.

I know they can do that. But when they pull someone out of their jurisdiction, the cop is supposed to call MY town and have an officer in MY town come out to the scene to watch. When I got pulled over for "running" that stop sign, it was by a DWG cop. What happened while I was sitting in the parking lot of the car wash? Oh look, here comes a cop from my town to oversee the ticket being written. I don't care that the cops pulled me over out of their jurisdiction, it's just that they don't even follow the law when they do it and bother to get a cop out there to watch like they are supposed to.

And other times they will actually pull people out of the jurisdiction without even initiating lights or sirens to the person (like the guy in the SUV who they drove through 3 seperate towns before pulling over). In fact the DWG cops have become so bad, the town of Pantego said that if anyone gets pulled over in their town and no Pantego cop arrives on the scene, and the officer does not initiate trying to pull you over in DWG, call them up and they will take care of the ticket. DWG won't even go near Pantego anymore. If a car makes it into Pantego, they will follow them through until they leave Pantego before pulling them over (like the cop did with the SUV above). I've sene DWG cops follow me into Pantego, so what I did was I pulled into the Tom Thumb, got out of my car and walked into the store. Cop drove past me after that and left cause he couldn't get me.

Actually, sorry, but every time I've asked Massassi for advice, they've been dead wrong.

This is obviously a trend w/ cops and not a trend with YOU because it also happens as frequently ( or even close to as frequently) to most (or even lots) or other people.

Zell, I like you dude, but please. It's not cool. Maybe it's cool to see in a fictional show or movie, but one of these times, despite THRAWN's assertions that he's a spectacular driver and quite 'safe', I guess, if he keeps it up, eventually someone or something valuable will get damaged or destroyed, and I don't think my life, or anyone else's, should be even POTENTIALLY sacrificed or put in jeopardy so THRAWN can have his good times.

See you guys are sitting here thinking I was swerving through traffic, running red lights and cutting people off. I signaled, made no illegal lane change, and did not exceed 10 mph over the speed limit. In fact, had that cop of been faster to start his engine and pull out and accelerate, I would have slowed down and let him go. But because he was so far behind me, I just kept going. Had the cop of caught up to me, I would have slowed down. When I realized he was NOT going to catch up with me, I said "Whatever" and kept going and ditched him. Did I do something wrong? Yes, technically I did. Would I have purposely done something incredibly stupid like cutting people off, running red lights and scaring little old ladies when the cop eventually caught up to me? No, I wouldn't. I simply would have said "Oh, sorry, I did not see you."
