Back in the day I always wanted a 97 Camaro Z-28.
Artic white with red stripes down the front.

Man, that's a car... ;)
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

Love the exterior except for the wheels. The interior looks great except for the dash. They have some great ideas for the dash, but they weren't implemented very well.

They really need to change the grille, get some smaller wheels (GM is really taking the large wheel thing overboard) and lose that scoop in the front of the hood. And they gotta lose the IRS, come on now, give me classic feel and give me solid axle :p I like how the rear portion of the cabin resembles the 69s but I dont care too much for the corvette-looking tail end.

Otherwise it looks SHUWEEEEEET!

No Bird will be coming back though from what I hear :( Oh well.

And FYI - GM has a LOOONG history of creating concept cars that look NOTHING like the final product. So dont get too upset over the things you hate about it, however dont get too excited about the parts you love either. And also keep in mind that a lot of things you see here wont be on all Camaros....lots of these things will be features and options etc, like the huge wheels.

Oh, and if they dont produce a T-Top version I wont buy!

Im glad they are bringing back the Camero, but I think it looks a wee bit too much like the new Mustang.
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

The camero and mustang have always looked similar...

Bah, there's no originality in the new designs... It's like "Hey, the 60's cars sold good, lets model them in 3DSMax and hit Meshsmooth!" It's not terrible, it's just not original. And the Charger or Challenger or whatever the red/black car is that someone posted looks exactly like the old car. No thanks.

so... again... is this a reasonably priced car... or is it comparable to the ford gt, as i did, in sexness, because i still dont know, either way, for a reasonable car, it looks like something a stylish grandma would drive, for anything else... no... and for a supercar.... EWWW.

By appearance for a sports car, I would say meh.

On the other hand, my dream automobile of choice is actually an APC of some sort.

When I first saw it, I thought it looked too much like the new Mustangs (which I do not like at all). I like some areas of it, but I still don't like how it's too 'boxy'. I drive a 97 Camaro too - which has always been my favorite model (since in 98 they changed the headlights and the front grille).

I still hope they change it more. It looks too much like the Mustang. In the 90's - anyone can see the difference between the Mustang and the Camaro. Right now, this looks too similar with the new mustang model.

I wish they would just stop trying to redo their old model and do something fresh.

I never did like the Camaro, just something about the design that threw me off. This concept, I do like somewhat. The outer design is pretty wicked, except for the front grill IMO. However, the dashboard design is straight out GAUDY and horrible looking; they went way overboard with the retro look.

I want a new Trans-am. I liked the way they did the '05 Mustang with the classic headlamps look. If they made a 2nd gen Trans-Am/3rd gen Firebird look, I'd love it. None of that flip up headlights BS, I've never seen them functioning, ever. Not on the Firebird, not on the Corvette, never.
Steal my dreams and sell them back to me.....

See what alot of you fail to understand... gm is appealing to a target audience with this car... the same as Ford with the Mustang. The guys who are willing to pay insurance and gas prices on a car with a 400hp engine. These are the guys who love the 1st generation of muscle cars. To guys like us. The designs are perfect.

Man I voted the wrong one. I thought we were talking about a the original concept. What happened to the old concept? That car was one sexy machine. I rather have the old concept then this new one.
