Same here.

It's an ugly car and the programme sucked. Leave it alone with the rest of the 80s.
nope.

Ah now all they gotta do is come out with the Trans Am again. Never been a fan of the last 2 Camaro bodys, though the 80s style I thought was pretty nice. And the previous one. My friend's exgf stepfather wanted to sell me his 79 Camaro, and I popped the hood and nearly wet myself just staring. Original engine, had only 19,000 miles on it too. Too bad it was a V6 though and not a V8 or I might have considered it (he asked like $4K).

I love the interior though, especially the dash. Thats pretty much what the 69 Camaro looked like on the dials, though its funny to see it go up to 180.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

Actually I read yesterday that the new Camaro will be built on a chassis designed by Aussies for the new VE Commodore. So I guess it aint all bad...

same was true with the new GTO. it was sold as the Manaro in australia. at least the new camaro concept looks somewhat like the old car. the GTO sure as hell doesn't.

Holden > pontiac, buick, saturn...

plus, you all know that a production car wouldn't look a quite like this. the concept cars are always really out of proportion.

we can only dream.

That ugly piece of crap shouldn't be able to carry the name 'Camaro'
Think while it's still legal.

It's just the retro version, like the new Charger, Mustang and Pontiac GT...oh wait ignore that last one.

Sweet. I like it. Now, if only they brought the Buick Grand National back...

Yeah, the old concept was better. It seemed to have the doors shaped more like the new Corvette's while retaining the classic style of the old Camaro's.

Yup. Pontiac GTO was just a re-badged Holden Monaro with a slightly different body at the front. They also sold it in Great Britain as a Vauxhall Monaro.

The interior looks like 1950s sci-fi.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I'd start robbing banks to save up to buy a GN.

The Monaro was an awesome car, but they stopped selling them shortly after release here. :(

Unless its another car I'm thinking of.
nope.

Yeah, the Monaro was an awesome car... and so is the BMW M5.... that doesn't mean either one of them should be sold as a GTO.
