Is it possible to (learn to) draw good without natural talent?

ambition can take up the slack left off of "natural tallent"

the more you can "use what works for you", the better your art work will become; worry about mont os the formal tecknque later, and get a bases for what your good at now.
Laughing at my spelling herts my feelings. Well laughing is fine actully, but posting about it is not.

Most art is largely skill. The people with talent just have a leg up on the competition, but most of it can be learned over time.

I'd say yes. Mainly because I've always been crap at drawing stuff. Recently I've been drawing a lot, and generally just improving as I continue.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

This is how i generally view most things in life, obviously there are some exceptions, and although i've not learnt everything i want to do yet, as far as i'm concerned, i could learn pretty much anything if i put the time in, and hopefully i'll get to learn and perfect most of the things i want to do :)

I'm taking an art class right now in school, since I had a schedule problem with AP Latin. You do learn a lot of concepts of art.

Btw, I'm completley sick of gesture drawing. We've been doing them for almost two weeks now.

Edit: Gesture drawings being quick sketches that show what a character is doing, his pose, and where his weight is, ect, without getting into any fine details.

It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

I've been in art school for nearly two years now. I never took any art classes in high school and, in fact, I used to make fun of my horrible stick figures all the time. I still have a long way to go, but I've come quite a ways too. Anyone can learn, if they really want it badly enough..

I don't know why you people keep voting yes when I'm a clear example to the contrary. I'm telling you, I cannot be taught.
