Favourite episodic tv series from this millenium.

DISCLAIMER: ANYBODY WHO CHOOSES FIREFLY MUST BEGIN THEIR POST WITH THE CODE [browncoat] AND END THEIR POST WITH THE CODE [/browncoat] PICKING A DIFFERENT SERIES BETWEEN THESE TAGS, BESIDES THIS, POST YOUR FAVOURITE TV SERIES THAT BEGAN AFTER 1999....

[browncoat]The only ones i've seen are programmes i've seen recently, i've gotta say The Shield is my favourite, I saw season 1 and became addicted, so now i'm watching season 2.... apart from that, from limited experience I gotta say 24 comes in at second, which is a weird choice because yesterday was the first time I saw it... My mam got me season 2 on VHS for £4, damn cheap... never seen it before, so I didn't know what to think. To but it simply, I had 10 episodes watched in 16 hours.

Post your favourite episodic TV series of this millenium!

Does CSI count because I've never seen Firefly, and CSI started in '00, right?
I had a blog. It sucked.

I would have to say Scrubs. It's grrrrreat.

Oh, and Stella! Whatever happened to that show?

Lost and Arrested Development come in a close second, though!

ARGH.... [browncoat] post [/browncoat] if you post as a lover of firefly! (this is simply because i know a crapload of massassians <3 firefly and a discussion of other shows would be more interesting, after the 100th firefly/serenity thread :p )

[browncoat] Alais though I haven't been following it anymore, Mythbusters is a good one but I don't know if it counts [/browncoat]
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

Your rules are too confusing. If you want people to talk about other shows besides Firefly, just say so.

Edit: Bah, fine :p

[browncoat]As for me, I don't know if it's a favorite, per se, but I find Drawn Together can be pretty funny. And I think Mythbusters should count too.[/browncoat]

Well I would say The Sorpranos, but that started in 1999 and you said 'after 1999', so..

Firefly.

Scrubs, Arrested Development, and 24 are all also really good.

Joan of Arcadia was good, while it was on. This new show on AMC about con artists (called Hu$tle) looks fairly interesting. Otherwise, I watch very little T.V. I'm much more of a movie person myself.

Hmm, Carnivale was quite ace, as was Firefly, but I still choose Angel even though it started in 1999.

you use too many abbreviations.

I thought Hu$tle was gonna be good but I got halfway though the first episode and and said "this blows."

I have also determined a channel needs to show all Bond movies 24/7 and another channel needs to show all 4 season of 24 over and over in real time.

Presuming that's the British series and not an American rip-off, Hustle is a very cool show. The plots and twists are usually very well done.
