The Sand Line was pretty bad. So were a number of Jar Jar's lines.
Life is beautiful.

I actually agree with Zloc. But since it wasn't on the list, I voted for sand.

BTW Kyle90, you must send me a link of the archives to that comic! Thanks for reminding me of it. :D

How about the entire opening crawl from Episode 3?

What about that line when Obi Wan and Anakin get stuck in the forcefield on the droid ship, and Obi Wan says something like, "What?! We're Jedi, we're better than this!"

It's "Wait, how did this happen? We're smarter than this!"
"Apparently not."

I always hated the entire fireplace living room "I can't breathe without you, Padme." scene.

But there's always a special place in my heart for their discussion of politics.
"Sometimes the senators don't agree."
"Well they should be made to."

-I mean, you can almost hear "I just think it would be great if we had a system where we rounded up all the Jews and put them in camps."

That was amusing... somehow :p

AOTC and TPM have pretty much all meh lines, RotS too, but all the movies are clichebags when it comes to dialogue but that seems to be a common problem.

I have to vote the "Are you an angel?" line though since after some trance "genius" decided to put it in a song I decided how terrible it was.

Like dood.

well, look who its coming from, i mean he DOES become darth vader ;)

i would also have to agree with zloc_vergo, that NOOOOOO!!!!! line seriously killed all my ideas of how great darth vader was... even worse than when he took off his helmet in rotj... *shudders*

Yeah, that. I expect Jar Jar to sound like a moron, and Luke to be whiney, but that should have never come from Vader.

But thats the thing though. You guys are all looking at Vader in his mid to late 40s in the old trilogy. In RotS he is still a whiney 22-23 year old brat. My age actually. Who just found out he "killed" his wife and kid(s) in a fit of rage. He hasn't had 20 years of choking out Imperial Commanders or slicing up innocent people for the sheer pleasure yet. He's still just a kid who found out he's spending the rest of his life in black leather. I'd scream too.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

But not "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
There should have been more physical rage, either through the force or not.

Meh perhaps. I half expected to see Vader fall right over as soon as he got off that thing. Starters he looked like Frankenstein right after getting up and trying to walk for the first time. Second, both his legs are basically now stilts. I figured he wouldn't of been able to adjust right away and just plop over on his face.

It's a movie where firey explosions exist in space, as well as swords composed entirely of energy... oh... and you know... that whole "force" thing.

Let's not get to picky about what would "really" happen.

Heh, I actually really like this line. Sounds to me more like an excuse from George Lucas that he had to bring them somehow to the bridge.

I hate that, too. But I really hate this "I love you more" stuff on Coruscant in RotS.

Congratulations! You grasped the intent of that line. That's why I like it. It shows how Anakin thinks. He only says that it was a joke after Padmé says that it sounds like a dictatorship.

Luke's No didn't actually bother me at all. ... In fact, before Attack of the Clones, none of the dialogue bothered me at all unless someone was "omg it sux". It was just dialogue to me back then... Oh wells bells.

But actually, more annoying than any of those lines is how people quote "No, I am your father" as "Luke, I am your father".

I was in this camp until Phantom Menace. When I was a kid the original trilogy dialogue seemed fitting for its purpose, with lots of fun lines to memorize. :)

These new movies, well... since I'm not a kid I can't view them with the same acceptance. I voted the sand line. :/

The new star wars movies could win a worst dialogue ever award - so much to choose from. I voted for the "dying a little each day" line because who would say that? The sand line was also really cheap.

Why did I even watch the prequel movies? I want my giggle back! :o

And I actually like the "bad feeling" lines - except for when Hayden says it, then it just sounds wrong.
Historians are the most powerful and dangerous members of any society. They must be watched carefully... They can spoil everything. - Nikita Khrushchev.
Kill one man, and you are a murderer. Kill millions of men, and you are a conqueror. Kill them all, and you are a god. - Jean Rostand.
