No you didn't :P You said it was a movie, it isn't. It's in pre-production.

I hate (no really, I'm going to regret this, I know) to agree with ubuu, but he's right. Don't ruin a good book. Books are good for a reason, making them into visual art detracts a whole lot.

Besides the above, I'd be willing to assist you with Film-lingo, and shot calls, etc. Just PM me.

Kirby, I know what you mean. But the thing is, If I made a movie of it, I'd make sure NOT to screw up. I wouldn't release anything until I got it perfect. This book is my all time favorite and I wouldn't do anything to ruin it. That's why I got pretty sad when I found out that a big movie company was taking it over. Because they usually just pick some random director to make it, that has no idea how awesome a certain book is. Lord of the Rings was so great because Jackson read the books so many times and he is a LotR freak. Then there are most other book to movie films that just suck, because they don't put enough time into it. If I ever make a Giver film, I am going to do it right, and I am going to ask the other fans of the book what THEY want. I already know what I want out of it, but I am sure there are other people who are just as crazy about this book as me...okay maybe not..but [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]
