About a grand and a half.

I bought a computer with it. Though they did not give me the money for graduating high school... they gave me money because they thought I could use it for college.

see, his parents knew that the money wasn't going to go to school, so they gave it to him as something they knew he'd use it for productively

Wolfy, since I was about 14, I havent been accepting gifts from my parents (only people I get gifts from) for my birthday. Great to be here on earth, but I havent done anything of paticular importance that celebrating my life requires them to spend tons of money. They always ask, because I guess it is the right thing to honor a birthday day and tghey love me yada yada, but I always refuse. I accept for Christmas, cause that is the celebration of Christ, but then again I except minimal gifts, maybe a shirt or two.
