Thinking about that Nano?

Humor is subjective, and apparently it's quite funny to him. And all you do is provide him with more subject material.
90 something in a college level high school class. Not college prep, a level above that. Last week we had to read the Great Gatsby, then write an essay (5 pages MLA format) about a motif in the story. After that we had to read a short story by Fitzgerald and then write another essay due the day after comparing the two stories. Also, state contests, not school contests.

Guess what, I've got a 90 something in my AP class too. It's still mostly grammar, with a bit more writing. I read The Great Gatsby last year, or rather was supposed to, and ended up making a 92 on a paper that I wrote completely BSing (and no, the teacher was not an easy teacher). I'm a good writer, I've won a couple contests, but I don't go around flaunting it (mainly because I don't write, at least I don't show anyone my writings.). Contests don't mean ****, your grade in english doesn't mean **** (especially since AP isn't really that hard...especially not analyzing the Great Gatsby. Analyzing something like Beowulf maybe, but Gatsby is so damn easy it's not even funny), the only thing that means **** is results. Give us some sales numbers and we'll talk, some success stories and we'll talk. But don't go "HAY GUYS I WON A CONTEST AND I GOT GRADES I WIN".

Also, I think it's pretty humorous most of the time. It gets old, but is pretty humorous most of the time.

Now, get off the subject of you fluffing up your ego like you always do because no one here likes your crap, and back on the subject of DAPs.

Why doesn't this sound right?

So. I had to write six pages on a subject of choice(Within Reason) in my Senior English class(English Lit). Same format. Only four pages were required.

Oh yeah, I can pump a 5 page MLA out in an hour or less. Especially on Gatsby. That's not college level, unless you did it IN class. Otherwise, I'd say it's still pretty much honors high school bull**** at best.

Dude, I was doing that as a sophomore in High School. Hell, I even did the same exact assignment. For every single book we read. Not to mention writing 10-15 page Western Civ research papers.

Anyways, iAudio's do kick major ***. My friend just got one, and it is godly. The interface isn't as nice as the iPod (frankly, what's really better), but that thing does EVERYTHING.

Bloody hell that turned into a *****-fight far quicker than usual.

/me smacks all involved with an old, but still working (non-colour *gasp*) iPod.

Get back on topic! :p

:em321:

If and when my iPod Mini dies, I'll definitely be looking elsewhere from Apple. It's not because the Mini's a bad product - I love my Mini. It's the fact that Apple now only offers the Nano (too frickin' small - I'd lose it or break it) or the Video (too frickin' expensive). Unless Apple re-releases the Mini, they're going to lose my continued business with respect to MP3 players.
Dude, I don't think any player out there has FLAC support.
My iAudio x5 does. Thanks for reccomending that.

Most of their players do, but I think only one of their flash based players does.

But my X5 beats the pants off an iPod IMO. The screen is not quite as big, but I don't watch a lot of movies, I listen to a lot of music, and the X5 sounds a lot better than the ipod to me. I don't really like the color of the ipod's sound.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that SAJN's linkin park joke was lame, unlike spe's.

And SAJN, why don't YOU get a hair cut, lose 30 or 40 pounds, stop making lame webcomics, and understand that you don't have room to bash anybody about "being a loser."

And stop making music. The music you like sucks, ergo odds are good the music you want to make will suck. Spare us a few threads of "my band's new song" bull**** in the music discussion, and while you're at it, spare us the update every time some idiot from SOAD takes a ****.

In other news, I'm happy with my iPod, but I would really like to have something else. I want drag and drop functionality, not iTunes.
