Just for the record--I've never bought a console. The PS2 I DO have was given to me for free, and the SNES before that was an XMas present.

I never called myself a Gamer. A Computer Gamer maybe, but not a Gamer. There is, in my book, a distinct difference. A Gamer playes anything. A Computer Gamer plays Computer games. I'm a Computer Gamer. Hell, even that category can be divided down into Genres. I play mainly FPS games. Those things never interested me. Take careful note that I never said anywhere that I disliked them. I said they held no interest. Finally, I fail to see at all how it ruins my opinion of games. Console games maybe, computer games, no.
