Schoolteacher. Currently teaching 8th grade, but can (and have) teach anything from 6th grade up. Certified in science and mathmatics, but teaching math was boring, so I only do science.

I have no idea what minimum wage is around here. I don't even know what my salary is for that matter. All I know for sure is that it is north of 30-grand a year.

I'm the Director of Information Technology for an event photo/video company. I oversee everything that we do when computers are involved, including hardware/software maintenance, network administration, web design/development, and application design/development. It's a small company and the pay isn't very good, but I'm gaining experience that will enable me to eventually start my own business.

I agree with Page. It's not the weight that makes you sore, it's the repitition.

I am currently unemployed. I quit Starbucks about 3 weeks ago. I also withdrew from half of my classes at university so I'm pretty much sleeping a lot, playing music, and doing stuff with my girlfriend.

I really only quit Starbucks because I was driving 40miles roundtrip in heavy traffic (so usually about 1.5-2 hours to get to work) in order to make $9/hr. + tips. It was actually really good money for what I was doing. I'm thinking about applying to some of the coffee shops intown until I can find a better job.

Right now, I'm a corporal in the US Marine Corps. I get paid around $10 an hour, but I don't really work normal hours and that includes commuted rations.

I work at MCAS Miramar in San Diego as a network administrator. With the NMCI, it's not much of a job anymore, but it's still a good one to have. :)

I work part time at a small specialty plastics place, doing pretty much whatever needs done. This includes working on production lines, running/fixing injection molding machines, laser-engraving plaques and stuff, and generally carrying the lazy-*** day shift. I've been working there for almost a year, and I'm making $6.75 an hour. Which, as ****ty as it seems, is a step up from the $5.60 I made working at at the local grocery store. Three ****ing years in that ****hole, and not even a single goddamn raise. And my parents wonder why I quit.

I want to go to "Kurt's park," and burn that bench near his old house everyone signs. That'd be sure to make them all cry and slit their wrists.

I volunteer tutor so that's kind of like a job without compensation that can't sustain a living.

I currently work in the deli of the grocery store that rates lowest in employee treatment, sanitation, and prices (meaning they are friggin HIGH) in America. Some call it Safeway, but those who know call it Slaveway.

Funny how when I left my last job, I totally hated it, but yet it was infinitely better than the job I have now. I would go back to my old job, except that its 2500 miles away now. I took a $2.30 reduction in pay and at least a 25% increase in stress and retardedness. But I got a car payment to make, and not a lot of places are keen to hire a college kid in a college town... Maybe thats why the safeway management seems to back off at just the right time. So much turnover in that deli, they know there are times I'm ready to quit at the first comment that they dont appreciate my efforts.. They just push it right to the edge without going over. Its frustrating really.
