but i doubt that cops would shoot someone for breaking the law of "no running" if that were a law

Maybe not the crappy, lazy cops...

I might start practicing this on weekends, when I don't have to go around with a pack on my back. There are certainly plenty of obstacles on campus, and if anyone has the body type for it, it's me.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

If that actually were a law they probably would.

We have laws against parking in certain areas and they don't shoot you for that. We have laws against public nudity but when they catch you they don't fill you with lead, etc etc?

If anything, it'd be the lazy cops who would shoot someone for running away.

I just got back from doing some random training. Nothing too serious this time. I looked around my school campus a bit more for some good stuff. I only had two big lines. 'Twas a great workout though.

Well someone died doing this quite a few years ago already. http://www.darwinawards.com/darwin/darwin2002-38.html

Yeah, the idea is to not even do a run-up for a leap you don't think you can make. You will slip, fall, and die.

Ugh. The worst part of the story is that he had done it once. There's nothing worse than when you do something successfully several times and then fail. I just recently hurt my arm on a ledge grab like that. Suckage.

Though "then he and his freinds went to a pub"? Am I too understand that he tried a gap drunk? Idiot.

Yeah, but if the government made a law against running, it would probably be only slightly less totalitarian than the Combine in HL2.

Well I was going to make a similar point to the one above, and that is that cops would shoot you if you refused to obey jaywalking laws for example, they may chase you and try to arrest you (if they're complete *******s of course)

but anyway I have a feeling that they won't outlaw running anywhere so this discussion is kind of pointless.

I'd probably do parkour if I lived in a country that had abandoned buildings like every 5 feet. Like Russia.
