Those side effects certainly don't occur in all cases. I'm not saying it's good to pop a pill for everything, which I know happens all too often, (I wrote my whole senior thesis on how perscription medication is over prescribed thanks in part to marketing teams shaping public perception) and I'm usually the first one to say that medication is not always necessary, especially given the side effects, but there are still many cases where medication is legitimately needed.

Though Ambien is actually a controlled medication. Not a CII or anything (CII's are the narcotics) but it's a CIII, which basically just means they need to be double counted by the pharmacy tech.

I don't know how that's relevant, but maybe someone will find it interesting.

I didn't notice that either! Makes a whole lot more sense now. Should I go back and edit it with a "pfffft why do you need a drug to sleep?" or some such?
