BG2 cartoonish?!? That is one of the most indepth, mature games I have ever played in my life.... What is Final Fantasy to you, a puppet show?

It's not really turn based, seeing as your pretty much taking your turns at the same time...

I agree with Daeron - Sacrifice deserves an honorable mention. A truly different, and brilliantly fun RTS.

I wouldn't give Interplay much, if any credit. All credit belongs to Black-Isle, Planet Moon, and Shiny for developing those games.

I've played Sacrifice! And yea fair comment, the first two fallout games where made with Black Isle and they rocked, the most recent two with interplay and 14 degrees east sucked. Messiah was also made with Shiny but as this topic is simply thinly disguised praise for Messiah and Fallout I went with Interplay.

Many, MANY of you seem to know of Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, NWN and the like but I've only had maybe one person actually state that they know were my name comes from. Otherwise, its funny names like drizzit and driz or drizzle.

Also, odd that we are talking about Neverwinter Nights as I reinstalled it yesterday and decided to finish the game. Can anyone tell me what to do on chapter 2? I am supposed to look in the hills north of port llast for any signs of the cult. Luskan wont let me in, and I have been in I think two caves and explored them thoroughly to no luck. Also been inside the grave tomb thingy of the arcane.

P.S. Cosmic- Neverwinter nights gets better after all the boring routine catching of creatures in the first chapter, and online play is fun.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Most of your proof comes from Charwood or Neverwinter woods, so go there and do those sections.

To the south, if memory serves correctly. One of the markers on the map should say To Charwood or something similar.

By the way, on Baldur's Gate II, did anyone ever meet Drizzt with a character under the same name and a reputation of twelve or lower? I heard he accuses you of stealing his name and attacks, but I've never done it myself.

Livid, yes. I was waylaid by Drizzt, Bruenor, Wulfgar, Guen, and Cattie Bri and they attacked me. I cant remember if i was of evil alignment or not i dont remember the cause of it. I believe he accused me of attacking him before and taking his scimitars. I never attacked him but i did have his scimitars due to a cheating obsession [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Ok, so i did the neverwinter woods quest and reported back to Aribeth and she said she needed one more piece of evidence so i did the charwood castle judgement thing but did not summon that thing, and quint got jailed or sent to the Aybss. I then went outside into Charwood Village and predictably it was on fire and i went to leave and go back to charwood woods and talked to the strange black guy from the cult until he attacked me. I reported back and I have no new options to talk to Aribeth with. Any help?

So you got the info from the crazy dwarf before healing the spirit of the wood and the info from the nutjob in charwood? That should be enough. Did you talk to Aaron Gend?

Weird. AFAIK that was all you needed. There is another bit of proof you can get from the little halfling that gives you a ring (Samuel?).

Just have a look at some NWN walkthoughs

I think the attacking part refers to an event in Baldur's Gate I, but it's been so long since I played it that I can't recall when it happens. I guess the game must've picked up on what was in your inventory [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

You can meet him in BG1 while fighting gnolls. Lots of people would kill him for his uber equipment... so are you really surprised that he's angry when you run into him in the second one? :P
