1.) If people want to waste their money, sure, it's their money. 500 isn't pocket change, no matter how you slice it. People are extremely irresponsible with their money; what, is that a good thing?
2.) My cellphone has those features. I don't use them. I find no use for them. It's just extra fluff. "Extra crap" is NOT always a marvelous advancement that is to be awestruck by. It's extra crap.
3.) You know, you can buy the PS3, and I'll stick by my PC. We'll still be on this forum. Let's see how that turns out.
4.) I thought it was 13 dead pixels. "They lead the industry in tech prowess".
Debating you will obviously go very, very far.
A "Hmm, this ham and cheese sandwich needs more mayo"
B "MAYO IS THE SPAWN OF SATAN! IT KILLS BABIES"
Me trying to convince you of anything is like A trying to convince B that mayo doesn't steal the souls of virgins. True, yours is based in more logic... slightly... but same principle.
That and you know more than I do on this, heh.
1) You're right, it's not nothing. But people need something to use their money on. The American people ARE irresponsible with their money. But they also know their limits.
2) Neat--you don't need to use them. A lot of people do though. It may not be amazing and great for you, but did you ever consider you're still living in the 90s? Or that you're not everyone?
3) I'm sticking to my PC mainly. But if I do get any consoles it'll be the PS3 and the Revolution.
4) Officially, it's a "substantial amount" (reports say like 4 or 5). It's not 13. As a PSP owner, I know these things. But either way, I know people with ONE dead pixel who had theirs replaced. And they DO lead the industry in technical prowess. They have the best LCD screen out on something that size, with those capabilities. They have the best processor out on the market. They practically pushed the media center ability of consoles (a really popular ability) into the industry as it is today with the PS2.
And you're damn right I know more about this, because it interests me. I made sure Sony had cleaned up their act after the PS2 release fiasco before I got a PSP. Since I have a PSP, I'll let you decide how that went.
