I was sad Lithuania didn't win. The dancing bald guy surely should have brought it home for them.

From Russia:

can't stand... no more...

You'd think that with so much money/publicity going into Eurovision that countries who decide to run their songs in English would at least ensure that they were grammatically correct

haha
Situated in the very heart of Europe, Lithuania is a crazy country with crazy people.

It took us 50 years to tear Soviet Union apart. Now we joined European Union. This one will not take as long.

Our primary religion is Basketball and our daily diet is so rich in fat, it’s considered lethal for most Americans.

Lithuania is a conservative Roman Catholic country, yet we have more night-clubs than churches in every major city around the country. Women are very beautiful.
What did Finland win anyways? A gift certificate to Papa Johns?

The music - Sucks, the costumes - suck. Horrible. That was the most horrible thing I've ever seen.

I normally think your taste in music is terrible, but you're absolutely right. The act was totally lame...like some kind of KISS knockoff. The music was just as terrible.

Aren't you being a little generous?

Something which seems to be big for a lot of Europeans, but - obviously - not to Americans.

I suppose hosting the whole thing next year will be quite a hard task for finns. Last time we had some pseudo-large worldwide event it started raining and only 2 people showed up :D

Fun thing you mention KISS, since Lordi was actually inspired by them. If I'm not mistaken, they've got a track on their new album which features a lovely solo by Bruce Kulick (former KISS guitarist).

Because they won they host it next year, which results in the country getting some kind of publicity type stuff.

You know what I mean, they get to show off stuff about their country.
nope.

I thought there was definitely an Alice Cooper vibe in it.

I agree that the song wasn't great, but it was entertaining and a breath of fresh air in the incredbily stale Eurovision.

There was something about the Chorus that reminded me of Poison. Must have just been the chord progression or something.
nope.
