I honestly can't stand playing MMORPGS. I play them, and after an hour, I'm sick of it. I can't stand all the levelling up, all the items, and the fighting. The battles are so lame! You just keep swinging you're stupid sword or what-have-you until your opponent dies! Most of the time you just stand there in one spot too.

It's just too slow and boring for me. I don't find trying to get to a certain level of experience points to be "fun".

No. No, it's not. Watch people play a raid on Ubers, or watch AV level 60. WoW is the fastest paced MMO I know of.

I remember when EQ was so record breaking (in the US at least, since Lineage has always killed it because of Asia) and it only ever popped over 500k for a short time. So crazy.

Asheron's Call, the one game I played for an extended time, peaked at 120k, hehe. Funny, it peaked right after Dark Majesty was released, and was declining pretty heftily right before that. Second expansion didn't see any increase, just a 6 month plateau, and now it's down to 10k, lol.

Play a class like rogue, hunter, or mage. Those are very fast paced. I'm talking PVP here too, not "set combination of abilities till it dies" for mobs.

I wish WoW would have come out when I was a teenager and still living at home. I would have played that ******* 24/7. I'm too busy and too poor to feed my addiction these days. I mostly just get drunk and fall asleep reading instead.

There's free servers, and a lot of really good ones too, but it's not free no.

And some of the servers ARE legal, before anybody starts railing on the illegality of it.
