Most of the times I go to the shop I'm only buying a couple of things, in which case neither. The guy at the corner shop now knows not to bother offering me a bag if I'm just getting a carton of milk or a bottle of water.

Supermarkets here only carry plastic, but if we're doing a big shop, we've got the huge reusable bags in the car.
