Who wants a gmail?

yeah, he is. whenever someone makes the 'i could care less' mistake, he just posts a bold "COULDN'T". it's an error in grammar. i dunno. im not normally annoyed more than normal by anyone's comments, but for some reason that one just sticks out :\

It's not even a grammar mistake. "I could care less." is gramatically correct. It's logically wrong to use it in the context it was used though. As Mort-Hog's diagram nicely points out.

But if you couldn't care less then couldn't you care more?

...That's the point of it.

If you couldn't care less, then you don't care at all.

If you could care less, you already care and you "could care less" than you already do.

If you couldn't care less you could still care.

I couldn't care less, but I COULD care more if I couldn't care less. Just because I don't care less doesn't mean I don't care more

*head splodes*

What? If you couldn't care less you're at the maximum level of not caring.

[http://forums.massassi.net/html/confused.gif] If you cant care less then you do not care at all... You've got it backwards. "Could not" == cannot. It's impossible to care less. It does not mean "I could care more" because you can't care any less.

It seems like you all could care less about bad grammar.

or you could care less, but it's not likely.
