I play baseball and I "dip". Many find this a disgusting habit, I'm not proud of it by any means but what are your thoughts on chewing tabbaco?

for my schools around here the new style is dipping, and its for all those people that think their a badass cause of it. we got 7th graders do that stupid **** and its a very nasty habit. plus it leads to mouth cancer which would suck like no other.

It's disgusting, a friend of mine can go through a can of chew a day, sometimes more. He gets pissed off when you call him on it, so if wants to slowly kill himself without listening to anyone else about it, more power to him.

Who cares. In the end it's less harmful to the people around you than smoking. I perfer smoking, however.

What would a person with no jaw look like? Would't they have to put something else on there? That would be weird.

God, I can't stand that ****. Which sucks, because pretty everyone I work with does it. And, of course, they leave various containers with all their lovely brown saliva (along with whats left of their "dips")everywhere. At least with smoking, the only leftovers are the cigarette butts.

from when google tells me, it's taking the tabaco and putting it between your upper(?) lip and your gums/teeth where the nicotine can easily enter directly into the blood stream by a large vein located there.

I don't know, I think people spitting that crap all over the floor would be just as irritating. I don't really mind smokers, to be honest. I've grown up around them.

Tried it for a while (Copenhagen sucks hairy rats) and then eventually went "meh" and went back to smoking.

You put a small pouch like a small tea bag between your bottom (or upper if you want) lip and gum and the tabacco is absorbed directly into the blood stream. By pure coincidence I dipped for the first time last night when they were giving out free samples at a Lynyrd Skynyrd and Doobie Brothers concert. I hate spitting though, so I swallowed most of the stuff which made me a little sick :/ It's a better high than smoking, of course I've had a grand total of 3 cigars and 1 cigarette in my life so I'm no expert. Trust me, there are much better drugs out there. Every once in awhile it's interesting, but I'm just not a tobbaco user.
