Uh huh, sure. What I meant was would it be enjoyable for a majority of people? I mean, I understand there are people who enjoy the rotting delights of surstromming in Sweden. But, really, do a majority of people enjoy it?

I could even understand it being an acquired taste. It's just how the taste is acquired that my intellect fails to grasp.

It's not taste. You get a big nicotine buzz at first, then your body becomes addicted to the nicotine.

I mean acquired taste in the abstract. The process of chewing tobacco as a taste, as it were.

Also, I'm not familar with any sort of studies, but I'm fairly sure it takes more than one instant of chewing tobacco to make you addicted to nicotine.

As far as taste, there really isn't anything to it either way, but because of the nicotine, it is enjoyable.

Tabacco of any kind is disgusting, most smokers wouldn't disagree. People don't smoke to look cool, as much as those commercials would like you to think. People may start because they think that, but once you are addicted you're just looking for the fix.
