Check out http://stormtrooperstride2.ytmnd.com/ - a stormtrooper actually hits his head when he's walking through the blast door! :D I know this is probably old news, so speculate as to why this never got edited out. Plus I just discovered this and it's always good to have more Star Wars trivia material.

Also did you know that jango hit his head on Slave 1 in episode 2?

Don't forget Obi-Wan's half-blink when he leaves that control room.

It would have paid to have been a little short there.

Yeah, we noticed. It's the reason for the Jango head-bump in Episode II.

-It's kinda funny.

When Han dives from the station on Endor right before it blows up, you can see his reflection in the protective plexiglass.

classic, I'd never seen that before,

I think they didn't edit it out as the audience’s concentration is on the guy at the front and not those at the back.

Old news.

Every time I see it I think of the "Uh!" sound from Jedi Knight when you shoot the storm troopers.
2006-06-24, 5:30 AM #11
Well, I guess that if anything proves you can't see a thing when wearing one of those ST helmets...

Well, on the other hand people keep hitting their heads also in the real life, so it doesn't make the scene unrealistic, quite the contrary.

The death star was obviously designed by hobbits.

The aliens in Ep2 stole it from frodo.

I've got a list of ~ 130 bloopers in ANH, works it way down to about 90 I think in RotJ. Got the list online, seen most of them. Added a few myself as well.

If you listen carefully, in the same scene, you can also hear a gunshot instead of a blaster firing.

Yeah, he actually said "Carrie" at one point, don't remember where.

In the cell block, where Han is talking to the officer over the comm, that whole portion was improv, Ford forgot his lines and Lucas waved him to keep going :P

In ESB when they are in the worm's gullet, you can see Harrison mouthing along with Carrie's lines (because she was so strung out she couldn't remember them for however many takes before).

In ANH there's a shot in the Death Star, I think, where you can see the shadows of Luke and Leia waiting for their cue to enter the shot.

Also, in episode 2, when Obi wan is walking through the cloning facility, he looks up at one point and you see the Enterprise :D Pretty funny.

After blowing up the Death Star. While he's getting down the ladder while all the cheering rebels are rushing him he yells it.

Wow, I never knew that detention center scene was improv because of forgotten lines! I always loved that scene because I thought ford was an amazing actor there.. but that's really cool how that little "stupor of thought" was real. :D

Wow, did not know that, those were some of the best lines/acting in the movie I thought.

And that's the reason that you should have sliding doors, not vertical ones. ;)

Yeah I've seen the clip slowed down before, it's pretty good. They almost edited it out once but loads of people complained so they left it in. There's a few other gimmicks too but I can't think of them at the moment.
Sneaky sneaks. I'm actually a werewolf. Woof.

A couple of the asteroids in ESB are potatoes, elsewhere an ISD was replaced with a sneaker (nobody knows if the shot made it into the final cut, though), in the front viewport of the Tantive IV in ANH there's two posters, one for Star Wars, and one's a Playboy poster. When Han gets into the Falcon for the first time and sits down in the cockpit, he brushes his head against a pair of gold dice hanging from the top panel.

Han's suit changes between ESB and RotJ. In fact, I think it even changes between going into the carbon freezing machine and coming out a Hansicle.

-His handcuffs also dissapear, but they were made of carbonite and vaporised during the freezing process.
2006-06-24, 3:56 PM #28
Actually, the handcuffs-thing depends on which version you watch. In some you see the ugnaughts taking them off in some you don't.

In ROTJ Lando bumps his head in Jabba's palace.

I heard that Ford improvized the line "I know" before Han gets frozen. It was originally supposed to be "I love you too."

He thought it was too corny and that "I know" fit Han's character a lot better. He was right.

Ah, yes, and supposedly his "Boring conversation anyway" was more a statement to the original dialogue and not part of the script.

Well the position of his hands while he's frozen in the carbonite would also indicate the handcuffs were removed.

Yes, Han's shirt does change styles during the freezing process, and when he's getting up. Statins that he got when he fell dissappear too. This list of custom errors in the trilogy is incredibly long, we could have an entire thread on costumes alone.

HA. HA.

(There's actually a lot of things wrong in Star Wars. There were 21 or so things wrong in A New Hope even. I lost the website that listed them all though)

Theres a bunch of continuity errors between ESB and RotJ. The order they arrive at the palace is a good example.

At the end of ESB Lando and Chewie leave while Luke, Leia and the droids are on the medical ship. Then in RotJ lando is already in the palace and chewie arrives with Leia.

It happens in a lot of movies. It's not dubbing so much as the editting.
